adding sticky notes to secured document

Hello,

I have downloaded a text book from my university electronic library. I
want to add some sticky notes to some equations in the book but the
sticky note tool doesn't even show up when i add it to the toolbar. Is
the document locked in some way? This is really inconvenient

Adam

Probably more the opposite.

To be able to use the sticky notes in Adobe Reader, the creator of a
document has to use Acrobat Professional (or a very expensive
alternative) to allow this. Mostly they don't bother, and so you won't
be able to add notes in the free Adobe Reader.

Give PDF-XChange Viewer a try to place sticky notes.
