embedding video into pdf files

Forgive the intrusion. I've been googling without much success.

What I'm trying to do is to pdf a powerpoint presentation with
embedded video within it.

In short, when you get to the PP slide you double click the screen and
the video plays. (How) Can this be done within an Adobe pdf file?

Many thanks

That is not correct. Using the LaTeX package movie15.sty it is
possible to produce pdf-files with embedded video and sound. This
is possible for pdf version 1.5 and higher which can be opened in
Acrobat Reader 6 and above. Naturally, you need to have an
appropriate plugin for the embedded media type installed.
